The Islington Faiths Forum is a community partnership of faith-based organisations working together to assist local community development and delivery of individual and community support services. You can participate in local community actions by volunteering some of your time. Simply contact your nearest faith-based organisation to find out what they are doing and where your contribution may be made. |
CURRENT AIMS & OBJECTIVES OF THE IFF
1. To develop an extensive and inclusive network of faith groups in the Borough. 2. To promote greater understanding amongst faith groups and in the wider community in Islington. 3. To provide representation of faith communities to statutory and other agencies and to campaign on issues of importance for those communities. 4. To empower and support individual faith groups and smaller networks of faith groups to engage in community initiatives. 5. To play an important role in encouraging community development and cohesion. |
